Legal assistance for journalists reporting on protests in Serbian cities

After the first reports of attacks against journalists reporting on anti-government protests, the Slavko Ćuruvija Foundation called on journalists, photo-reporters and cameramen reporting from the protests in Serbian cities to contact the Foundation if they suffered violence, threats, intimidation or other forms of suppression preventing them from doing their job.

All those contacting the Foundation, via the email pravnapomoc@slavkocuruvijafondacija.rs or on phone numbers 064 42 62 484 and 062 115 33 10, have been provided with advice from lawyers on how to protect their rights.

Moreover, legal assistance for reporters from the protest has also been secured by the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia, NUNS, and the Association of Journalists of Serbia, UNS.
